Future Plans
This page is for sharing my latest development version of mtPaint, as well as ideas on future versions. Constructive feedback on either is welcome - see the 'Contact' page for info on how to do this.
Version 2.3x
I have decided that version 2.30 will be the final new feature release for version 2 of mtPaint. If people report bugs that require small tweaks to fix, or want to update the translations, I am happy to release minor updates like 2.31, 2.32 etc.
Version 3.00
Version 3 of mtPaint will have several major improvements, including a better toolbar and menu design, support for channels, and more extensive documentation. This is a big challenge and will involve a lot of work over many months, but the end result will be worth the effort.
